Four English pairings to feature at 2025 YONEX All England Open

Four English pairings will get the chance to shine at the 2025 YONEX All England Open.
The 32 players and pairings who will compete for honours across the five traditional disciplines have been confirmed.
This is the latest step in the countdown to the next edition of the world’s oldest and most prestigious badminton tournament, which starts at Utilita Arena Birmingham on 11 March.
Leading the English entry are Ben Lane and Sean Vendy, who will be making their fifth appearance together in the West MIdlands.
The men’s doubles duo will aim to recapture the highs of 2022, when they claimed their first victory at the event over Malaysia’s Tan Kian Meng and Tan Wee Kiong.
The two-time Olympians started their 2025 with two victories at Super 1000 level in Malaysia.
Making their debut in the women’s doubles draw are Estelle van Leeuwen and Chloe Coney.
Van Leeuwen and Coney will both be making their maiden appearance at the storied event.
They have made a strong start to their new partnership having reached the finals of the Scottish and Irish Opens in the latter part of 2024.
Van Leeuwen will have entries in both the women’s doubles and mixed doubles, the latter coming alongside Callum Hemming.
Hemming memorably tasted victory at the YONEX All England in 2021 alongside Steven Stallwood in men’s doubles and returns to the event having also featured in 2022.
The experienced pair of Greg and Jenny Mairs complete the English entries.
