New VICTOR product launch 2025 Q1/Q2
Honored to have the opportunity to attend VICTOR dealers’ meet in MY where they showcased upcoming launch of new VICTOR products for 2025 Q1 and Q2. Also had the opportunity to test their racket during their meet.
Notable racket preview:
VICTOR Thruster K TTY Ultima
This racket is quite a beast and feature packed into a single racket. Features METALLIC frame, FREE-CORE with POWER-RING to stiffen the handle, WES3.0 that makes it pretty easy to smash. Overall, solid offensive racket to be used on court.
VICTOR Auraspeed 100X Ultra
Really digging the look of this new ARS100X Ultra. Matte grey paint with pearl sheen accentuated with turquoise decal. The biggest changes with the ARS100X Ultra from its predecessor is the tried and tested 5.8mm METALLIC shaft. The max string tension upgraded to 4U/30lbs and 3U/31lbs. The racket felt slightly less stiff compared to the predecessor. You can immediately feel the racket response with the ultra slim shaft. Nothing to worry about with the torsion due to its lighter head-weight. Currently used by Malaysian MD pair Goh Sze Fei.
VICTOR Auraspeed Fantome
My personal favorite among the racket I’ve tested. A good headlight racket is hard to develop and make it strong and light is even harder! This time, VICTOR incorporate lighter and stronger NANO AEROGEL foam material into the frame, which allows them to have more room for carbon fiber without sacrificing the balance of the racket. Polyphenylene benzobisoxazole or PBO fiber also incorporated into the frame and shaft, contributing to the racket lightweightness and strength. The result: slimmest racket frame VICTOR ever produced at 5.0mm, and able to withstand up to 4U/32lbs and 3U/33lbs! VICTOR would have a winner here if the racket can perform as advertised.
Other notable mentions:
VICTOR Thruster K Raptor
TK Raptor maintain its compact frame from the TK Hawk while added with FREECORE handle.
VICTOR Thruster K T500
A midrange racket with heavy hitting spec! High tension frame (4U/31lbs, 3U/32lbs), WES, PYROFIL 6.6 shaft, wooden handle, 9 out of 10 stiffness. (aint that a Ryuga racket?)
