Court mat issue

Perhaps test try hair dryer on a small area first. Start slow with low heat at a distance of 6 inches or so and see. Then gradually reduce the distance and go higher heat if no noticeable softening and flattening. But I’m thinking your ambient temperature is a little too cold. May have to wait for warmer season.
