The BWF World Junior Championships 2024 will take place in Nanchang, China from September 30 – October 13, 2024.
Additionally, USA Badminton will be opening up applications for a Head Coach with the goal of preparing the Team and individual athletes for success on the field of play: including the coach setting the line-ups for each tie.
The Coach position is a voluntary funded position by USAB for travel & lodging. However, in the event that funding falls short, reimbursement of expenses will be reduced at USAB’s sole discretion. USAB intends to name a Head Coach. We reserve the right to adjust/change the number and assignment of Coach(es) selected.
The Team Manager for this event will be announced at a later date. The Team Manager’s duties are to serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between the athletes, coaches and USAB before and during the WJC Team and Individual competition and to be the primary contact to coordinate and communicate with the host/organizers onsite on behalf of the USAB team.
The first part of the World Junior Championships will feature the U19 Mixed Team Competition. In the Individual Competition, Team USA will have 14 athletes competing.
Congratulations to all the athletes who will be representing the USA in the BWF World Junior Championships 2024 in Nanchang, China.
