One thing I’ve learned about ‘bigger’ players is that they generally have AMAZING shot control.
@risistor318 They are dependent on quality of shots, rather than physicality from movement around court. Also Bigger players are more reliable to guess opponents shots and place their footwork around that.

The first thing I want to say about this due is RESPECT
It’s easy to handle this guy even without reading moves cross court to back, cross court front cross court back and if you noticed he has a hard time slowing down after he heads one direction he gives up the bird. Now it’s a matter of you keeping up with his handling of the racket and the placement. As long you can keep up 2 or 3 more rallies it’s difficult for him to keep up. Over all hes very good for someone who has a weight disadvantage you have to give him that he will mostly beat any average Joe player

well it does, he has skill but it’s very clear if his opponent wasn’t a clear newbie like the one in the video he would get wrecked. Someone actually skilled could just keep drop shotting and clearing it to the back with ease and win. He will be too tired to continue running around. There is a reason why you don’t see any top level people in badminton that are obese like this guy. You do need agility and that comes hand and hand with not being obese.
