I'm thinking about getting a new racket right now.
I am a very aggressive singles player but to make it easier to help, I have a playstyle similar to Lee Zii Jia.
Currently, I am using an astrox 99 and duora z-strike.

Please help me pick out a racket from above.

    Other racket recommendations are welcomed.

    Thanks in advance.

I personally feel the 100zz is better for aggressive players; it's much faster and maneuverable compared to the sledgehammer that is the 99 Pro.

Yeah but the thing is that speed and maneuverability is not an issue for me, the biggest issue for me is trying to get a racket that will give me the strongest smash.

between your current 99 & DZS, which you like more?
New 99 Pro are more easier to use, so might help with the power. But being abit more flex & you also use DZS which pretty stiff, you might also hate 99 Pro for its flex.

Well to me the feel doesn't really matter, I only like the 99 more because it is far more powerful in smashes

Ryuga is a very demanding racket to use. Very all out attacking playing style. If you thought a ZF2 was demanding wait till suffer with the Ryuga. 5U one might be better on our wrists, but a NO for almost anyone unless you're as fundamentally complete as someone like Lee Zii Jia

Would recommend the 100zz because it's indeed the racket that 'won' the Olympics with almost the medalist having used the 100zz in all categories

doesnt mean 100ZZ are bad, just the reason which are totaly wrong.
Good racket not about how many pro use it & win the tournament. Pros had crazy intense training & they basically would be able to use any racket given to them. Ofcourse its the illusion that brand owner want to makes. Top 1 MD minions use twins 88 so we all think its the best for all.
But reality in club lv, player attribute vary alot, not to mention player preference. Some more into HH racket yet some other more on HL.

well still the best thing is for you to try it yourself but if you dont have the previlege to try then 99 pro might suit you as you like your 99 more than DZS.

Demanding is never an issue for me but according to ur statement then the ryuga should technically allow me to produce the hardest smashes out of the other racket choices

Well the thing is that I heard the astrox 99 pro is not as powerful as the astrox 99 mostly due to using a 68 grommet design and being far less stiff

Also from all of the reviews on the ryuga, it was all stated that it didn't produce very much power that you would expect

well the thing about power are not so simple & changing racket are not significantly boost up power.

Ofcourse stiffer racket had higher max power ceiling but require more power before unlocking the potential. Many times club player going for demanding racket & burdening their games. Eventually when they try less demanding one they found out able to hit harder. Not sure if its your case or not as both OG99 & DZS are pretty demanding to.

So far i think ZF2 are the most hard hitter racket, being the stiffest & the head heaviest of all thus carry the highest potential of max power, but to unlock its potential the requirement are pretty high. Not to mention you had to hit with it repeatly for a whole match. The energy cost are high & will deplete you pretty fast.

Anyway which 99 & DZS you own? 3U or 4U? If its 4U, maybe you want to try 3U. It will hit harder if you able to handle the weight & swing as fast as when you use 4U coz it carry more weight. But again regardless, it wont double your power, just hit abit harder.

My swing speed is pretty good i would say so using a stiffer racket is not an issue. I use 3u models for both of my current rackets.
I've tried the ZF2 before but it felt like my smashes were slower than normal so idk. I was thinking about retrying my friends ZF2 once more but could you recommend me the next best racket for smashing, just in case I don't like the ZF2? Also if you have tried the ryuga, I would really love to hear ur thoughts on it cuz i can't find anyone who has tried it.

well when you are so gung ho on getting the strongest smash, why are you preferring a new racquet over your already existing AX99. It is literally the heaviest sledgehammer of the lot. Is there something you dont like in your AX99 or you just need another hammer toy?

    99 pro it is

As you said you didnt like the ZF2, I dont think compact frame is your choice (maybe you are not hitting at its sweetspot, which obviously is smaller, and hence you didnt like the power from it), so I dont think 100zz fits your choice, compact frame and not a hammer.

    End

i 100% agree with @Vivek Bagadhi said about you already got the 'Heaviest Sledgehammer' racket which is the AX 99 Gen 1 (orange/blue) right?? AX 99 is one of the hardest racket to use if we talk about full smash play with this racket, because the head is so heavy (i have this racket and i use it on singles and doubles).. you want more power from your AX 99? why you not try use BG 80 / 80 Power? if you insist to find a racket that 'Agressive' i suggest try AX 100ZZ or Duora 10 LT Li Ning Tectonic 9 4U/3U? but if you want 'Power' try Ryuga or Li Ning Turbo Charging N9 II Fu Haifeng or Li Ning Aeronaut 9000 Combat (some say this racket is all around feel too)/Drive.. Thank you

Compact frame isn't the issue, I was for sure hitting the sweet spot it just wasn't going as fast as my ax99 smashes

Thank you, I decided on the astrox 100zz cuz i wanted to get a 3u and i felt like getting a 3u 99 pro or 3u ryuga would be too hard to play with

Enjoy, and I definitely low key envy you because you get the 3u 100zz, whereas here in India we get the 4U model only. :(

try 88d pro if you think 100zz will be tiring for you in tired situations.
77 is also a good choice IMO, also depends on ur skill level
