Dan ga bs ga suka jg sm yuta, yuta endo too good too kind too cute to be hated, luar biasa ini anak, smpe melongo jg liatnya. Pokoknya bnr2 final ideal, SPEKTAKULER🔥🔥🔥
FINALLY, Endo got an All England title after four attempts…!!!! And regardless of the results, this was a thrilling match. Thanks to the 4 players who played such a great match like this. I respect them all!!

endo/yuta beat dadies(who beat endo/hayakawa at YAE2014 final ) in QF, Russian pair (who beat them at YAE2016 final) in SF. What a revenge story !!!

Ini epic, salah satu final terbaik yg pernah gw tonton. Biasanya Gideon yg akan drop duluan, tak disangka kalo boleh dibilang nyaris sempurna. Justru Kevin yg banyak mlakukan kesalahan. Yuta/ endo is still better than you guys, tp gw bangga dng kalian. Gw jarang ngomong gini tp kalian tetap sangat hebat dan membanggkan bagi saya.

Watanabe/Endo is the perfect example of 2 players that respect each other on/off the court. Even though Watanabe is younger and stronger than Endo, you can see that he genuinely listens to him and his advice. I have always like Watanabe ever since he started playing for his work ethic and respectfulness on the court. Congrats to the Japanese pair and also to the Minions, they all played their heart out!
The Indonesians had four different adjustments:
1. On attack, they switched front and back positions a lot.
2. They had more attack variations (drop shots) high and low smashes.
3. Bait their opponent to attack. Respond with defensive drives and initiate flat exchange.
4. Target Endo Hiroyuki.
The Japanese had four game plans:
1. Defend and lift.
2. Minimize the number of shots Kevin takes (unless he’s at the back).
3. Lengthen rallies.
4. Use the whole court.

@Hậu Lê Trung A lot of times, younger players come up thinking they can beat everyone with their pure skill. You could see that esp when LD was young, he had so much talent but had to mature a bit to win the big titles.

@Pande Gerga Art di BL itu byk strategi, salah satunya bermain lob. sejak dulu begitu byk pemain yg tidak berani menggunakan strategi bermain lob jika musuh yg di hadapi adalah pemain yg memiliki smash2 keras. Pemain tdk akan berani memakai strategi bermain LOB jk tidak memiliki pertahanan yg baik, jadi harus klob dulu itu, strategi ini sah2 saja di BL. So, hanya gegara menggunakan strategi bermain lob lalu dikatakan pengecut? ini jelas tidak fair.

Watanabe is not only humble when he won the match, he also humble when he lost the match. He is very talented, he has a great skills, and going forward he will playing better. Even though I’m from Indonesia, i thought Yuta/Endo desereved to win this match 🙂

Look at the second game, it’s a far point between them
And also even minions losing in first and third game, the score isn’t far away.
They’re just to focusing on killing the opponent, while the japanese’s pair have a great defence and always return it perfectly, make the minions losing energy to attacking
And finally minions find the cure for this japanese pair and they reach 18-18, playing some cross shot and some placing
But unfortunately, kevin doing some critical errors twice in a row that make the japanese pair back to their tempo
And thanks to japanese pair, kevin now can improve from his mistakes from this game
The Indonesians can use Ahsan and Setiawan’s method to win

@ARI ATH YF you realize speed takes away control? If you notice most of their shots are not very control, it just the speed and it lands in the court. Of course, if you have a good day speed and control will give you advantage. However, speed is not always a game for everyone. Naturally, short people has faster speed due to average height of the shuttle always in the comfortable swing motion for short people. Same reason why 2 giants try to play that game style, it only works sometime not all the time.
This is where a smart coach comes in to guide and teach the players which style best, which partners fit best to play with each other.
Same reason why this indo been winning is because tall players decide to try match the speed. Some of it because indos with bad sportmanship. When people get mad, they tend to try to win you over what you are good at even when they are not good at it. This apply to all sports even video games.

True. I never played badminton until 2 years ago and I regretted the fact that I only learnt the game late. I am loving it by the second. Even dreaming I can represent my country. Hahaha. I am more of a single player though but I play doubles mostly. I think Endo and Watanabe are really hit against minions because of 2 things i.e. defense both physically and mentally are strong and Yuta and Endo played well both at net and back. Key thing here. Mental toughness. Japanese duo has just spotless on this area.

GIDEON udah sering di nasehatin coach naga jangan terlalu main cemes, krna posisi kaki mereka udah siap defen, kalo GIDEON suka gagal pengembalian kaki nya gak siap kebiasaan cuma buat lompat..
Klo kevin hari ini lebih banyak ngikutin gaya GIDEON, dia jarang main net padahal keahlian dia main cepat di net.. Dan sering melebar dan emosi dia sebenernya gk fokus.. Klo bisa main pake gaya lama.. Main habis di net bola nya jgn terlalu banyak di arahin ke pemain lawan
Intinya mah kedepannya MINION harus lebih bnyk kasih musuh bergerak /cari bola, ini MINION yg malah nyari bola terus jadi cepet cape kesana kesini .. Kelihatan endo yg tua aja gak cape karna dia mainnya Def dan sedikit ke depan.

That shot was fantastic. Whoever playing badminton and ever did that shot, you’ll knew how hard is it. Mostly player would did a straight clearance shot instead of doing a cross court. That’s why the minions didn’t expect that return.
It’s attack versus attack, and defense vs defense, include of a game plan/ strategy…the pairs who doing best on that gonna win the game
