United States of America won the Pan Am Junior trophy, after reaching the first place at the Team Event of our XXXII Pan Am Junior Championships 2024, held in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

For the fourth consecutive time, the United States of America is crowned champion at the Team Event and raised the Pan Am Junior Champion Trophy!
On this occasion, USA Team defeated Canada 3 to 1, in an exciting final.
USA started the competition as seeded 1, leading Group A after victories against Brazil and Barbados. In Semifinals, they defeated Mexico (3-1) to reach the final where US Team imposed conditions and defeated Canada.
The Boy’s Doubles was the first match and USA won in a 3-games-match (21-17Â 15-21Â 21-17) with a victory of Wesley Chen/Kai Chong. Nicole Krawczyk put the 2-0 after defeating Emma Meng (21-16Â 20-22Â 22-20) in the Girls Singles match. Asher Bedi (CAN) gave the first point to Canada after defeating Kyle Wang in straight games (21-17 21-12), but Micah & Mikayla Henares Cruz closed the victory by defeating Mengyao Tian/Kaylee Sichen (21-17Â 16-21Â 21-18).

The Award Ceremony was led by the BPAC Executive Committee led by BPAC president Mr. Armando Bruni, along with Mr. Vishu Tolan, BWF Vicepresident for Pan Am, Mr. Jose Del Busto, BPAC Deputy President, and BPAC Vicepresidents: Dionne Haynes, Olga Muñoz, Roberto Santini and Javier Orozco, who is also President of Mexico Badminton Federation. Mr. Jesus Gutierrez, President of Aguascalientes Badminton Association also joined the ceremony.
