The first S500 tournament of the year. January 24–29.

Four of the 2022 Indonesia Masters winners are currently WR1. Will they repeat again?

He is still in the draw on tournamentsoftware. Axelsen withdrew, Kunlavut seems to have withdrawn also, I cannot find him in the MS draw.

I am not regularly checking, but an 8am start seems extremely early. Poor players.

Christo Popov just lost to an Indian player his age Priyanshu, could be an upcoming talent?

Meanwhile I think the Popov's really need to re-evaluate things, depending on their goals.

Priyanshu had 2-0 h2h against Popov before entering onto the court today. Now add one more.

Ishaan and Sai prateek pair does not have the standard for international tournaments. They are made for domestic tournaments.

Is China national badminton team so bad now that they have to keep doing medical timeout to win matches…

Before, they were not like that, no idea what shifted in their strategy, i could see many youngsters from China and Thailand do the same. Maybe, there are no rules to stop them from getting medical help.

yea, looks patchy lighting on the courts
my guess is they are trying hard to 'spotlight' each court individually instead of lighting up the whole venue. You can not how the edge of each court is quite dark even though the venue hv 3 courts side by side

Yeah i dont know what happen. this is just too obvious, especially during tight matches, 3rd game. I ve seen 3x, 2 with WangLiang... maybe even more.

I cant imagine how this will tarnish badminton if everyone will be the same - doing it in the future ( when they were on the ropes losing 4-5 points in a row). This will be bad for badminton. I mean Shetty Pendulum is bad, Choi delay serve is bad but this will be another level because anyone will be doing it now.

Less we forget, badminton can swing match for or against favour much faster than tennis.
