Chilly winters here in Delhi at that time. Hopefully all is well, and I’m able to grab a ticket.

The prize money is great. MO @ 1.25 mill and IO @ 900K which is record for S750 tournament i believe. This is how badminton should be and more to be done. when money is high, its more exciting to the world.

Categorized as insane schedule for badminton, 5 tournaments (which consist of BWF major event and S500++) in a row and no break.

    Player should pick and choose.

To be honest, it’s good for the sport. More tournaments for players and they need to consider carefully their tournament plan. All part of being a professional athlete.

Considering this is an Olympic qualifying year starting in May, which means more players play more tournaments than in a normal calendar year where they are more likely to pick and choose. I do expect to see top players at almost all of them next year from May onwards.

Positive note for badminton fans and development while player should be wise to select top priority tournament and stay away from injury because second half of 2023 will be critical period for Paris 2024 goal.

    Major + 10 tours (S1000 & S750), S500 (selective).

    fiuwww AllEngland next.

I would say the SingaporeOpen and MalaysiaMasters/ThailandOpen should have been in April timeslot instead of Lumping 4SS in month of June. (Used to be like that in SS era

April is basically empty and you can have whatever team event in May. of course the more tournaments the better.

There are 19SS tournaments instead of 12 Nowadays (excluding wtf) but who said no if it can be increased to 22-23tours (like F1). Of course the prize money has doubled for the big events more or less from the 2015-2018 period but S500 which is at 420,000 is only 20% increase than the benchmark 350,000 - imo this can be at 500,000 or even more.
